Understanding the Most High’s Samba
Three goals for this lesson: to understand what the Samba truly is, to understand why uSoNINI NaNINI requires it to be kept, and to know what it means to us as His chosen seed.

What the Samba is.
The Samba is the Most High’s set-apart day — His sanctified and ordained day of rest after He labored six days bringing forth all of creation. On this day all work ceases; every living thing rests together, with and under Him. It is a time of reflection, gratitude, and meditation on His word. The Samba was the first thing the Most High sanctified and made holy, and He Himself kept it. Of the six days He gave us to work and do our pleasure, He gave us the seventh for rest and restoration.
And uSomandla blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which uSomandla created and made.

Why He requires it.
He didn’t create the Samba as a suggestion. He ordained and required it as the living seal of His covenant with His chosen seed — His signature, a mark of ownership and belonging on all His creation, including us. Even the angels keep His set-apart day. To join the Samba with our Creator is one of the highest honors we have. No other nation was given it to keep but us. It is a sign, a memorial of deliverance — a weekly reminder of how uSoNINI NaNINI rescued us from bondage — and it is perpetual. It doesn’t expire.
Wherefore the children of Akobi shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Akobi for ever: for in six days uSoNINI NaNINI made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

What it means for us.
The Samba is our inheritance. Scripture calls us the seed of Abram and the children of Akobi, chosen to carry His law, commandments, and promise through our generations — and a covenant is a binding agreement, required of us. By keeping His Samba we walk in our birthright and our pedigree, entering the same rest our foremothers and forefathers knew. In today’s time, keeping His Samba, His laws, and His feast days is our spiritual return home — a return to our true identity as His chosen seed. Isaiah calls it the heritage of Akobi. When we keep it, we testify to heaven and to the nations who we are.
If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of uSoNINI NaNINI, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in uSoNINI NaNINI; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Akobi thy father: for the mouth of uSoNINI NaNINI hath spoken it.

Closing
Now that we understand what the Samba is, why it matters, and what it means for us as His children, we read the creation and heavenly record of the Samba as it was told to Moses on the mount — the Book of Jubilees, chapter 2, in full.
