The Feast of First Fruits
The Feast of First Fruits is one of the appointed feasts of uSoNINI NaNINI, told to our ancestors Akobi through Moses: the first portion of the harvest, the very first yield, given to the Most High in thanksgiving — acknowledging Him as the true Source of all provision and salvation. All of Akobi were commanded to offer their first and best before consuming or selling.

Why He designated it.
First, to acknowledge the Most High as the source of all increase and provision, and to humbly rejoice in our dependence on Him — it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth. Second, to consecrate the whole of the harvest. When we set apart our first and best for uSoNINI NaNINI, He in turn applies increase to the whole.
For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

The kinds of first fruits.
Scripture names several: the first yield of the land — grain, fruit, whatever the field gives; the firstborn of the livestock, an acknowledgement that life itself belongs to uSoNINI NaNINI; the best of the wine, oil, and grain — the staples of daily life, offered in their best form, because He deserves excellence and not the crumbs of what we’ve already taken for ourselves; and the first of all increase — every gain from labor, business, or trade, honored with a first portion before personal use.
Honour uSoNINI NaNINI with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

We are His first fruits.
We, the children of the Most High, are also an offering unto Him. We are the living first fruits of His harvest — fully set apart to live righteously and holy before Him, fulfilling all of His commandments dutifully. Akobi was holiness unto uSoNINI NaNINI, the firstfruits of His increase.
Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Closing
Though we no longer bring agricultural offerings, the eternal principle remains: give uSoNINI NaNINI the first and best of everything we receive; acknowledge His ownership of all creation; trust Him to increase what remains; and live as His firstfruits, holy and devoted to His purpose.
