What this site collects.
In short: almost nothing. No accounts, no forms, no giving, no advertising trackers.

What we do not collect
There is no account to create, no form to fill in, and no giving flow on this site. We do not ask for your name, your address, or any payment information, and we have no way to receive them here.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell, rent, or share information about visitors with anyone.
Anonymous visit counts
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages are read. It records page views and general information such as country, browser, and whether you arrived from a link — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, and nothing that identifies you personally. We use it only to know which teachings people find useful.
Your location, if you give it
Samba runs sundown to sundown wherever you are, so the countdown needs to know roughly where that is. By default the site guesses from your device’s time zone. If you choose “Use my exact location,” your browser asks your permission and the coordinates are kept in your own browser’s storage so the page remembers next time.
Those coordinates never leave your device. We do not receive them, store them, or see them. Clearing your browser’s site data for this site removes them, as does choosing “Use time zone instead.”
When you write to us
If you email bantuchosenassembly@gmail.com, we receive what you send — your message and your email address — and we keep it only so we can answer you. The inbox is read by the assembly. We do not add you to any list.
Telegram
Our gatherings happen on Telegram, which is a separate service with its own privacy policy and its own terms. Joining our channel there is between you and Telegram; anything you share in the channel is visible to the people in it.
Children
This site is written for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If we add anything to the site that touches visitor information, we will update this page before we add it.
