He’s Still Making A Way

Everything moves fast — news, decisions, circumstances. When the world is moving that fast but your situation feels at a standstill, it wears on you. You start to wonder whether uSoNINI NaNINI has forgotten you, whether your prayers are heard, whether what He promised is still on the way. Sometimes the test is the wait: He is observing how we carry ourselves when the promise hasn’t shown up yet. A delay is not a denial.

1. 01

   The vision has an appointed time.

   Habakkuk was wrestling with the Most High. He looked at the world — violence, injustice, wickedness unchecked — and couldn’t reconcile it with what he believed, so he brought that tension straight to Him: how long? Why are you not moving? And uSoNINI NaNINI answered — not by removing the problem, but by giving him perspective. Write the vision. Make it plain. What I have spoken is coming; it has an appointed time. Just because you can’t see it moving doesn’t mean it has stopped. What He has spoken over your life has not expired. It is moving on His schedule, not yours.

   For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

2. 02

   They that wait shall renew their strength.

   Notice what the verse does not say. It doesn’t say those who wait will be removed from the difficulty, or that the wait will be comfortable or quick. It says they will be renewed. That matters, because if you’re not anchored in Him, the wait drains you until you feel like you’re running on empty. He is saying: wait on Me, and I will renew what the waiting has taken out of you. David knew this — anointed king long before he sat on the throne, running for his life, hiding in caves, watching the man he was meant to replace still reign. He had every reason to take matters into his own hands. He waited. And be of good courage tells us waiting is not passive or weak. It takes strength to hold your position when everything tells you to move, compromise, find another way.

   But they that wait upon uSoNINI NaNINI shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

   The waiting does not have to break you. In the hands of the Most High, it builds you.

3. 03

   The fourth man in the fire.

   Think about the wait inside Daniel 3. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had to wait to be called before the king, wait while the furnace was heated seven times hotter, wait while they were bound and carried to the fire. At every step they had the chance to change their answer, to bow. At every step they held their position. The wait was not just before the miracle — it was in the middle of it. And uSoNINI NaNINI met them right there: not before the fire, not after it, but in it. He does not always move before the pressure comes. Sometimes He meets you inside it — and the only way you see the fourth man in the fire is if you don’t bow before you get there.

   He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of uSomandla.
