To Be Redeemed of uSoNINI NaNINI
What does it mean to be redeemed of uSoNINI NaNINI — and how do you know when you have been? Redemption is the act of saving, freeing, or recovering someone, often through payment. Applied to us: we don’t belong to ourselves. We are bought with a price. Redemption is a gift, not something earned — but gifts can be refused, and a life of continued, willful sin is a refusal. The real question isn’t whether the Most High can redeem us. It’s whether you will remain redeemed.

He moves first — then calls for the return.
Redemption isn’t passive. It requires repentance — not remorse alone, not feeling bad, but a genuine turning back to our uSomandla, confessing our sins and asking for His cleansing. Notice the order in Isaiah: He declares the redemption, then calls for the return. That is His mercy. He blots out the transgression before the return is even made. But the return is still required. Repentance is not what earns the redemption — it is our response to it.
I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

A brand plucked out of the fire.
Joshua the high priest didn’t clean himself up before approaching. He stood before the messenger of uSoNINI NaNINI in filthy garments, with the adversary at his right hand ready to accuse — and the Most High rebuked the accusation. Why? Because Joshua was already His. That is the position we need to hold about ourselves: already claimed, already His. The filth we’ve accumulated doesn’t disqualify us from His mercy, but we must come before Him in it, honestly, and let Him remove it, cleanse us, and clothe us. The clothing only stays clean if we walk accordingly.
And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
Zechariah 3:4 KJVuSoNINI NaNINI, in His righteousness, will not force clean garments on a man who keeps removing them.

The danger of reprobation.
Reprobation is not the Most High being cruel. It is Him honoring the choice you keep making. A handful of mistakes we repent of and learn from is one thing. Continuing in the same ones with no intention to change, expecting Him to forgive anyway — that is deliberate, and He will let you have what you obviously want. Romans 1 shows the progression, and it didn’t begin with the sins listed at the end. It began with knowing Him and choosing not to glorify Him, not to be thankful. That is where the heart darkens. Little by little He stepped back. Reprobation isn’t an end-all condemnation, but you will have to work desperately to be renewed from it — and that desperation is itself a mercy, because the desire to return is still present. The truly dangerous place is when sin stops feeling like sin, and you take pleasure in watching others do the same.
Because that, when they knew uSomandla, they glorified him not as uSomandla, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Romans 1:21 KJV, as we read itReprobation is the accumulation of small choices made consistently in the wrong direction. Redemption is maintained the same way — small choices, consistently made in the right one.
Closing
How do we remain in the redemption extended to us? Zechariah 3:7 — walk in His ways, keep His charge. It is not complicated, but it requires daily intention. Redemption is not a moment; it is a direction. Every day we wake up we are choosing which direction we are moving — toward Him or away from Him, into the clean garments or back into the filth. There is no neutral ground. We have been shown mercy we did not earn, had an accuser rebuked on our behalf, and had our iniquity commanded away by the Most High Himself. When the choice presents itself — and it will — remember what it cost to be clothed, and who changed your garments. You have been cleansed. You have been clothed. You have been claimed. Now walk like it.
