Are You Ready?
If the Most High was to come back this instant, would you be ready? Not a question to scare us — a question to keep us sober-minded about who we are, whose we are, and what is required of us as a result.

Check your oil.
All ten virgins had lamps. All ten waited for the same bridegroom. All ten fell asleep. Only five carried on — not for lack of faith, but for lack of preparedness. The oil is our lives: every private moment nobody sees, how we spend our time, what we feed our minds, whether we seek uSoNINI NaNINI or temporary pleasures when no one is watching. The foolish didn’t fail at the door. They failed long before it, in the ordinary hours, when they decided the lamp alone was enough.
They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
Matthew 25:3–4 KJVThe lamp can burn a long time on nothing but appearance. But appearance runs out — and it always runs out at the worst possible moment. Being prepared isn’t a moment. It’s a practice.

Check your hands.
Same lord, same trust, three servants. Two did something with what they were given. One buried it — and notice why: “I was afraid.” Not lazy, not rebellious. Afraid. A lot of us aren’t openly rejecting uSoNINI NaNINI; we take what He has given — our time, our gifts, our voice, our place in this family — and we bury it, calling it safe when really we’re avoiding the responsibility of doing something with it.
And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
Matthew 25:25 KJVOil gets you ready to meet Him. The talents show that readiness doesn’t stop at the door — it’s what you do with your hands while you’re waiting for Him to walk through it.

Check your eyes.
What separates the sheep from the goats isn’t who prayed loudest or showed up most. It’s who fed the hungry, gave drink to the thirsty, took in the stranger, clothed the naked, visited the sick and the imprisoned. Ordinary things that need no title or platform — things any of us could do this week without anybody noticing. When we serve one another, we serve uSoNINI NaNINI Himself. When we neglect one another, we neglect Him, no matter what we claim on Samba.
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Matthew 25:40 KJVReadiness isn’t proven in what we say we believe. It’s proven in what we do for the people right in front of us.
Closing
Oil stored up in private. Faithfulness with what you’ve been given. How you treat the people around you matching the way our Heavenly Father treats us. Not one of those is optional; all three together are what readiness looks like. None of us are perfect at this — I count myself in this examination too. But uSoNINI NaNINI isn’t asking for perfect. He’s asking for faithful. His plan is still in motion. His hand is still moving. The door isn’t shut yet — but it will be. Get ready now, family, while there’s still time to get ready.

Oil, hands, eyes: which of the three would you be least ready to give an account of this week — and what is one ordinary thing you can do about it before next Samba?

Now unto uSoNINI NaNINI, who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us — unto Him be glory in the assembly throughout all ages, world without end.
May uSoNINI NaNINI increase you and keep you. May He make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
