There’s Seed In The Ground Pt. 3
Proper preparation prevents poor performance — the five P’s many of us grew up hearing. Preparation is not something you do in a moment of pressure; it’s something you commit to long before the need is visible. The farmer plans how the harvest will be gathered and stored long before it appears. Faith does not only wait for what the Most High has promised. Faith prepares for it.

Write the vision; wait for it.
Vision and waiting go hand in hand. The vision is written and made plain, but the fulfillment belongs to the appointed time of the Most High. And while we wait, we are not called to be idle — we are called to be aligned. That is where preparation comes in.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Habakkuk 2:3 KJV - 02
Faith without works is dead.
But we must understand this correctly. The works of faith are not about forcing outcomes or rushing the promise. They are the actions that align our lives with what we say we believe is coming. If we say we trust the Most High for increase, for provision, for growth, then our preparation should reflect that trust.
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
James 2:17 KJVPreparation does not mean rushing the process. It means aligning ourselves with what we say we’re expecting, so that when the Most High brings increase, we are ready to steward it wisely.

Oil in the vessel before midnight.
All ten virgins were expecting the bridegroom. All ten waited. But only five prepared ahead of time for the delay. The oil didn’t represent effort in the moment — it represented readiness before the moment arrived. And when the time came, preparation could not be borrowed or rushed. What we’ve prepared in advance will determine how well we receive and steward what He provides.
They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

Closing
When there is seed in the ground, our responsibility unfolds in seasons. First, remain faithful to the work assigned, even when the harvest is not yet visible. Then, do not disturb what the Most High is growing. And today: faith does not stop at waiting — faith prepares. Preparation is not panic. Preparation is not pressure. It is the quiet alignment of our hearts, our habits, and our stewardship with what we say we believe the Most High is about to do. Faith plants, faith waits, and faith prepares.

If the harvest you’ve prayed for arrived this week, would you be ready to steward it? Name one thing to put in the vessel now, before midnight.

May uSoNINI NaNINI increase you and keep you. May He establish the work of your hands and order your steps. May He grant you patience in the waiting, wisdom in the preparation, and faithfulness in every season.
May He make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
