What does it mean to be great? By the world’s standards, greatness is accumulation — power, fame, influence, being the most recognized, feared, or admired in the room. But every one of those men and women will return to the dust. Their greatness has an expiration date. The Most High does not measure greatness the way the world does.

    Greatness in His economy.

    In His economy greatness is not what you have accumulated or how high you have climbed. It is character, obedience, and who you serve. He that is greatest among you shall be your servant. Micah strips it down further: justice, mercy, and humility. Not titles or awards. The greatness He calls out of us looks nothing like what the world has been grooming us to seek.

    But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

    Greatness that requires even greater praise.

    Greatness dwells within all of us — but it belongs to, and is directly related to, uSoNINI NaNINI. Every new opportunity, every promotion, every increase, every way your life has been made better is a result of His favor and His will. It is because of His faithfulness and His mercies that we can even stand here today and sing His praises. David resolved to bless His name every day, forever and ever — and we must carry the same approach in our own hearts, especially when His greatness overflows into our lives.

    Great is uSoNINI NaNINI, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

    There is none like Him.

    The greatness He calls out of us is only possible because of the greatness that belongs entirely to Him — and there is no one who compares. Two witnesses, Isaiah and Jeremiah, separated by time and circumstance and everything life had dealt them, arrive at the exact same conclusion. Not among the wise. Not among the nations. Not in any kingdom that has ever stood. His name is great in might, and His greatness is without equal.

    Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O uSoNINI NaNINI; thou art great, and thy name is great in might. Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.

    Every good thing in your life is simply His greatness expressed through you.

Closing

Do not let the greatness of uSoNINI NaNINI become background noise in your life. It is easy to acknowledge Him in a gathering like this, when the word is flowing. But what about Monday morning? What about when the pressure is on and circumstances don’t look the way you prayed? Will you still declare there is none like Him then? That is the real test of whether His greatness has taken root — not what you say in the high moments, but what you hold onto in the quiet and the hard ones. Thine is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, the majesty. All of it is His. Receive that. Walk in it. Give Him the praise His greatness demands — not just today, but every day. There is no one greater than uSoNINI NaNINI. And there never will be.

May uSoNINI NaNINI increase you and keep you. May He make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
