Keeping the Feast Days of the Most High: A Review

These past months have been a spectacle for the carnal world — Thanksgiving, Christmas, and now what they call the New Year. Those things may have meaning for them, but they do not govern us. As the set-apart and chosen seed of the Most High, our lives are ordered not by the traditions of men or the calendar of this world, but by the Word and the Law of uSoNINI NaNINI. Today we introduce nothing new. We review.

    The times of this ignorance.

    Many of us have come a long way from our days in Christianity and the church, where celebrations with no foundation in Scripture were embraced and normalized. Many of us once participated — not out of rebellion, but out of ignorance. And the Most High winked at that ignorance; now He commands all men everywhere to repent.

    And the times of this ignorance uSomandla winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

    The year begins in spring, not in the dark.

    One of the clearest examples is the belief that the Messiah was born on December 25th. Scripture never supports it. He was not born in the winter, nor is his birth tied to any man-made holiday. From the beginning, Scripture shows the new year beginning in the spring — and when we say spring, we mean it in relation to Africa and the land, where spring marks the true beginning of life and growth. The Most High never started His year in darkness and cold, but in light and renewal. Shifting the new year to winter and the Messiah’s birth to December were not innocent changes.

    This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

    The feasts as they are written.

    For years uMdala faithfully taught us the appointed Feast Days of the Most High. Today we simply remind ourselves of who we are and of the days we are commanded to uphold. March is a feast-heavy month for us, with several appointed times approaching — so we return to the Word and read Leviticus 23 in full, as it is written.

    Speak unto the children of Akobi, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of uSoNINI NaNINI, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

    These are the days and the traditions we are to carry out — each with its own purpose, each in its own season.

Closing

These are the appointed Feast Days and Holy Days of the Most High. He gave us these days for a reason, and He set us apart for His own purpose. Let us continue to honor that calling with love, humility, and intent.
