Feast of Tabernacles: Dwell With Him
The Feast of Tabernacles does not stand alone; it comes in order. Trumpets woke us up — a signal, a warning, a call to attention. Atonement humbled us — afflicting our souls, coming before Him honestly. And now Tabernacles teaches us how to remain. How to dwell.

A commanded remembrance.
The Most High did not just command a feast. He commanded a remembrance: dwell in booths so that your generations will know that He brought you out, and that while you were in a temporary state, He sustained you. This feast forces memory — and that matters, because if we do not remember, we will begin to believe we got here by ourselves. When you step into something temporary, you are reminded that your life has always been in His hands.
That your generations may know that I made the children of Akobi to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am uSoNINI NaNINI your uSomandla.

The wilderness was a lesson in dependence.
The wilderness was not random; it was intentional — to humble them, to prove them, to know what was in their heart. You do not live by what you build or what you control. You live by what He provides. That is what the booth represents — not weakness, but truth: our lives are upheld by Him. And even there they were not abandoned; the pillar of cloud by day and fire by night never left them. Just because life feels unstable, just because we are not where we thought we would be, does not mean the Most High has left us. The wilderness is not abandonment. Sometimes it is the place where His presence is most undeniable.
And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of uSoNINI NaNINI doth man live.

The real covering was never the structure.
The booth pointed to something greater. The real covering was Him. That is what Tabernacles teaches us: to dwell — not just physically but spiritually, to remain in Him, because that is where protection, peace, and stability are. And then He commands the people to rejoice. Trumpets carried urgency; Atonement carried affliction; but Tabernacles carries joy — not because everything is perfect, but because the Most High has still been good, still keeping us, still providing, still present. After reflection and repentance we can become so focused on what is wrong that we forget to rejoice in what He has already done.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of uSoNINI NaNINI, He is my refuge and my fortress: my uSomandla; in him will I trust.

Closing
He called us to wake up. He called us to get right. And now He is calling us to dwell — to remember where we came from, to depend on Him fully, to recognize that He is our covering, and to rejoice that He has been keeping us all along. We are not sustained by what we build. We are not covered by what we see. We are not kept by this world. We are kept by uSoNINI NaNINI. Even in unstable times, even in the wilderness, He is still with His people. So let us remain near, remain grateful, remain mindful — and dwell with Him.

May uSoNINI NaNINI increase you and keep you. May He make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
